The No Word Station

What is the best part of faith but loosing? Don’t get me wrong, it is not about left someone behind, but accompany them even more. Maybe you will not believe or agree with me, no matter, that’s not the thing. Because I will tell you what I really mean.

Someone born to be happy, get what they search all over the place and time. A rich man comes to his devotion to Sharasvati, a goddess from India. He wants to be rich as the other, he is working almost all the time, but he always finds himself stuck in the same point. He feels depressed and desperate looking any rich people who get what they want by their wealth. But in his pray, Sharasvati appears not to come, moreover answer what he prayed.

Years past, until he get his fatigue to pray to Sharasvati. He chooses to be an ascetic, exiles himself far away from world. Sometimes he still hears some story, but he doesn’t know, he reach a stage where he want nothing more. In that time Sharasvati comes to him. “I will grant what you wish years ago. You are more ready to have your wealth. I will give you whatever you want, how much money and richness do you want?” But the hermit shake his head, and smile peacefully, “No, I don’t want it anymore. I am in my real happiness right now.” Sharasvatti nods and leaves him.

Maybe you will not believe in me that loosing is the best thing in life. Maybe you think that don’t feel and sense anything is numb and anesthetized, yes you are right, in some point. But do you know that the highest and the lowest realm of faith and religion show the same look. The trance man can be described as crazy, but at the other hand it also called full. Word is the way of communication, but for they who had pasted the stage of unconsciousness and consciousness, word is distraction; they will tell you simply, “The best thing doesn’t go through words and any verbal way, they just pass.”

You may remember the story between The Little Prince and snake, when he take the snake’s offer to bring him home by its bite. Or maybe you will remember Anthony de Mello’s writing about the frog’s song in his book, The Prayer of the Frog. If I don’t ring your bell, I will tell you shortly, he said, the highest prayer is when you hear and God so, no word just the sound of singing frog. Yes, I talk about mysticism, the other sphere of faith, the untouchable field, which can only described by poetry.

So I will stop here. You don’t have to agree with me. It is not subordinacy, it only means we on the different path. And it is completely fine.
